“Equal Opportunity for All!” Disability Awareness Week 2018!

The New Brunswick Association for Community Living (NBACL) will be helping to mark the 31st consecutive Disability Awareness Week (DAW) in NB from May 27 – June 2. “Equal Opportunity for All!” is this year’s theme.

Disability Awareness Week is a time dedicated to informing New Brunswickers of the existing barriers for citizens with disabilities, and to raise awareness about the state of accessibility and inclusion. Disability Awareness Week

Disability Awareness Week is intended to showcase the potential of people with disabilities, and celebrate the successes and advancements we’ve made as a province and community.

The Government of Canada has declared May 27 – June 2 National AccessAbility Week! National AccessAbility Week is a time to celebrate the contributions and lives of people with disabilities, as well as their respective communities, and aims to highlight examples of accessibility and advocate inclusivity.  AccessAbility Awareness Week
