On the job support is required for a high school student with an intellectual disability completing their co-op work placement in the St.George area. The job coach will provide on-the-job guidance and support to the student, as well as encouraging and supporting the student to gain independence and growth with job related skills and tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a background in human services, education, or a related area of study, although we will train the right applicant. Experience in a similar role is an asset. The successful applicant must be able to provide a current criminal record check and vulnerable sector check and must also possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation.
Hours: 10 – 15 hours per week (Regularly scheduled weekday afternoon shifts)
Rate of Pay: $14.50/hour plus 4% vacation pay
Job Coaches will report to the Charlotte County Transition Facilitator with the New Brunswick Association for Community Living.
