A family is seeking a Personal Support Worker for their son on a part-time basis in the Florenceville-Bristol area. Responsibilities include supervision and assistance with personal care, as well as supporting him to engage in social and recreational opportunities in the community. The successful candidate must have access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to provide transportation.
He enjoys being physically active (swimming, playing at the park, etc.) and is happiest when he is busy. The family is seeking an assertive, mature, high energy support worker, who is willing to get active with him.
Shifts will begin with about 3 hours afterschool, one afternoon during the week, and 4 hours on the weekend. There is opportunity for the position to lead into more hours, should the successful candidate and the child form a positive working relationship.
