An information package for parents who have just found out that their child has a disability. We know that this will not answer all of your questions or concerns. We sincerely hope that it will give you the information that will send you on the right path to helping you get the information that you need.
The Focus on Inclusion program is a program offered by the New Brunswick Association for Community Living (NBACL) and is designed to increase the inclusion capacity of Early Learning and Child Care staff and others working to support young children with additional needs and disabilities. These include professionals working in after school programs, and as aides/support workers.
Resource Catalogue NBACL has compiled a complete list of available resources, both free and for purchase, into one downloadable list. You will also find additional resources here on our website, including online learning modules, videos, and links to many other useful websites.
The directory is a resource for families who require additional supports; Early Childhood Educators in all early learning and child care centres who support children requiring additional supports; Family Resource Centre personnel; and those who support families and children through the Family and Early Childhood Agencies. It may also serve as a useful resource for staff working in schools who support children/youth whose families require outside support in the community.
