To Our Friends and Partners in Inclusion,
I wanted to share that Sarah Wagner, our Executive Director, has informed the Board of Directors that she will be joining the Office of the Child, Youth and Seniors’ Advocate, as Deputy Advocate – Public Affairs, beginning in September of 2023.
On behalf of the entire organization, the Board would like to thank Sarah for her outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to the inclusion movement in New Brunswick. Sarah has been a part of the Inclusion NB family for nearly 10 years, working alongside families, and self-advocates, as well as community partners and government. She will be greatly missed.
We wish her every success in this important new role and know she will continue to passionately advocate for public policy to advance the rights of New Brunswickers with an intellectual or developmental disability.
Tanya Whitney, our Board President, is stepping in as Interim Executive Director, beginning August 1st. We appreciate Tanya’s willingness to join our exceptional team as the Board embarks on a search for Inclusion NB’s new leader. Tanya will work closely with Sarah during this transition period. At this time, I will be assuming the role of Board President.
We look forward to keeping you informed of the progress of the search.
Yours in inclusion,
Dianne Cormier Northrup
