Celebrating Patricia Dineen as she receives Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal recipient Patricia Dineen honoured for over two decades of volunteer work shining a light on inclusion.

After more than 20 years as an active and dedicated volunteer with Inclusion NB, Patricia Dineen has been awarded the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for her meaningful and longstanding contribution to her community in support of people with an intellectual or developmental disability and their families.

In addition to serving as a member of the Inclusion NB Board of Directors, Patricia has provided valuable input and support to the governance and policy work of Inclusion NB. Assisting the organization to move toward its goal of a more inclusive New Brunswick, Patricia has been instrumental in assisting the organization to achieve its mission. Ensuring individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability have access to; quality inclusive childcare, a positive inclusive education experience, support to enter the workforce, and opportunities to live full and valued lives in all aspects of society.

Patricia is currently serving on the Fredericton Association for Community Living’s Housing Task Force, which has a mandate to establish inclusive, affordable, dispersed housing in the Fredericton region.
