On-the-job support is required for one high school student with developmental/intellectual disabilities completing their co-op work placement in the Saint George area. The job coach will provide on-the-job guidance and support to the student, as well as encourage and support the student to gain independence and growth with job-related skills and tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a background in human services, education, or a related area of study, although we will train the right applicant. Experience in a similar role is an asset. The successful applicant must be able to provide a current criminal record check and vulnerable sector check and must also possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation.
Hours: Up to 12.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday approximately from 12:30pm to 3:00pm)
Location: Saint George area
The Job Coach will report to the Transition Facilitator with the New Brunswick Association for Community Living.
