NBACL invites consultants to submit a bid for the provision of application development and design. The successful bidder will create an accessible online calculator application that people with an intellectual or developmental disability can use to easily determine how employment income may impact their disability benefits.
The scope of services is to develop and design an accessible online calculator application where individuals, families and employment agencies can input relevant information about anticipated employment income and be provided with an estimate on how this income will affect benefits. Specifically, the application will be focused on the impact of employment income on social assistance (income support) benefits and social housing benefits for people accessing subsidized housing.
